Ouroboros is intended for anyone who creates artwork, whether as a professional or a non-professional artist. Artists participating do not need to have an art education. Artists working across all disciplines are welcome to apply.
How and when do I pay for the course?
Upon acceptance, you will receive information on how to pay. Payment is available through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
What is the difference between multiple sessions and all eight sessions?
For signing up for all eight sessions, artists will have their work critiqued several times, craft a new artist statement, present their work, complete exercises, and hear from two speakers, a gallerist and an established artist. Participants don’t need to join for all sessions. The minimum number required to attend is 5 classes at a prorated cost of $45/class. Please note that applicants who apply for all 8 classes will be prioritized in acceptance due to class-size limitations.
Does my artwork have to be a current body of work?
No, participants are welcome to present past work.
If I join, do I have to have my work critiqued?
No, you’re able to join and participate in the conversations and critiques without receiving personal feedback.
What platform do we use to meet virtually?
Google meets. Google Meet can work with all emails.
